My name is Michael Johnson. I am a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords. I have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and I am on a journey of faith to become like Jesus Christ.

I am a husband and father, an adventurer and seeker, an artist and a musician (of sorts).

In Christ I find my fullness of joy and meaning. In my family I understand the blessings of love from, in and through God. My wife and children help me love better, know God better and fill my life with laughter, amazement and lifeI have been married for sixteen years to my wife: Anna Johnson. We have two children together: Judah (age 11) and Lily (age 7). I received my Bachelors of Arts in Religion in 2000, from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Masters of Arts in Missional Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University (2012). I was ordained an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2003, in San Antonio, Texas.

Since 1998 I have been diligently pursuing a calling and career in ministry to others and to the Church of Jesus Christ, specifically in the Church of the Nazarene. I have served as youth pastor, associate pastor and senior pastor over these years.

My credo in life is “Man’s chief end is to love God and enjoy Him forever” (St Augustine).

I have a burden for a movement of praying among God’s people that brings God glory, leads to revival and results in community transformation.

I also desire to be a part of starting new small groups and churches across the United States and of implementing organic church strategies in order to help all people engage in disciple-making and service to others.

Special emphases: Teaching/Discipleship, Prayer, Team Building, Training/Equipping, Vision Casting, Creativity, Organizing.
